The Oyler family's work in heating and refrigeration goes back to 1972. The brothers brought that experience with them when they purchased T.Byrd's, and they run the company today the way their family has always worked: measure first, do it properly, treat people fairly.

Colten Sperry is the General Manager of T.Byrd's Heating & Cooling in Concord, North Carolina. He got his start in the trades more than a decade ago as a technician, working his way through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, system replacements, and eventually leadership, learning the business from the ground up.
At the core of everything Colten does is a simple belief: take care of people. That means making sure every customer feels heard, every job is done right, and every home is left cleaner, more comfortable, and better cared for than when he arrived. Knowing a family had a great experience and can count on T.Byrd's when they need help is what keeps him passionate about the work.
That same commitment extends to his team. Colten enjoys helping technicians and staff develop their skills, grow in their careers, and take pride in delivering exceptional service to homeowners throughout the Charlotte region.
Outside of work, family is everything to Colten. He and his wife, Florencia, are raising their two children and are proud to call Concord home. When he finds a little free time, you'll usually find him on the golf course, although he'll be the first to tell you that family always comes first.
