Today, the company is led by a family whose experience in heating, cooling, and refrigeration goes back to 1972. That experience shaped the way we work, but not the way we sell.

We believe in measuring before recommending, diagnosing before replacing, and treating every customer's home with respect. It's a straightforward approach built on craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the job right the first time.

How long has T.Byrd's been around?

T.Byrd's was founded in Charlotte by Travis Byrd and is owned today as a family company, with roots in heating and refrigeration going back to 1972. The Charlotte operation is run from our Concord office today.

What makes T.Byrd's different?

Modern convenience, traditional values. We diagnose with real measurements, write our pricing in plain terms, and tell the truth about repair versus replacement. No pressure, no upsell.

Are your technicians certified?

Yes. Our technicians are certified, EPA Section 608, manufacturer-trained on the brands we install (Daikin and Goodman), and continuously trained on the diagnostics we run on every call.

What's the Cardinal Club and what does it cost?

Our maintenance membership: $14.99 a month or $180 a year, per system. Two seasonal tune-ups, 10% off repairs, 5% off new systems, no after-hours fees, priority scheduling. Free for first responders, teachers, and military through the Mission Ready Plan.
